PICKLE JUICE is a new 5-piece alternative-rock band from a small ski town called Revelstoke, B.C. The members of PICKLE JUICE consist of ski bums from Canada, Australia and England and are well known for their energetic live performances. PICKLE JUICE has been making a name for themselves across the kneecaps of B.C. The band has been active for just over a year and have played roughly 25 gigs, performing in places such as Penticton, Whistler, and Big White in Kelowna.
PICKLE JUICE’s international heritage directly impacts their musical style and grace, pulling inspiration from artists such as The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, IDLES, Sticky Fingers, Cage the Elephant, and many others of a similar vein. Their unique blend of indie, punk, and alternative rock are rolled together to create a debut track sure to knock your socks off.
In this podcast I asked lead singer Tim Van Der Krogt a few questions on how the band came to be what is known as PICKLE JUICE, share some insight on the process of creating their unique sound, and discuss the release of their latest single “Caught In A Lie” which came out on October 18th, 2024.
Thanks again to Tim for coming on the podcast to share some insight on how PICKLE JUICE creates their music. Be sure to check out the bands other single “Toxic & Sweet” also available on Spotify and YouTube.
